The Uganda Nurses and Midwives Union (UNMU) informs all members and prospective applicants that the State House Scholarship Programme had been temporarily put on hold due to delays in tuition payments. However, H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has committed to clearing all outstanding tuition for the sponsored students.
In addition, the President has extended the scholarship programme, reaffirming the Government’s continued support towards the education and professional development of Nurses and Midwives.
The Union is therefore pleased to announce that the scholarship opportunity has officially resumed and will reopen for applications starting 1st May 2026.
